Online Backup

Our online back up solution backs up company data to two off-site locations automatically. Online backup removes the need for tape back up systems which are reliant on regular human intervention and attract additional costs associated with hardware and offsite storage. The solution requires no extra hardware and runs securely over an existing Internet connection.

Fully Automated – back ups are planned and scheduled according to your individual requirements and are not reliant on human interaction. If the connection is lost at any point during the process, the system will re-try the connection before alerting the administrator

Comprehensive Archiving – important information can be kept for as long as it is required e.g. accounts and human resources information is required to be held by UK legislation

Off-Site – the solution is more cost-effective than traditional off site back up systems, as it uses an existing internet connection to send the data to the storage centres. Company data is also protected from disaster or damage to company premises

Restoration Process – all data backed up is readily available, around the clock, via the online connection and can be restored via a number of different media options

Monitoring – as soon as the back up is completed, the solution will automatically send an email giving an overview of the activity undertaken

Please note that to avoid interruption to the Online Backup service, annual renewal will occur automatically unless you advise us otherwise before the renewal date.
